Permanent Exhibits

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the foundation of the Vietnam Women’s Union, the Vietnamese Women’s Museum’s new permanent exhibition will officially open on October 20th, 2010. Visitors will be impressed by the modern display style which utilizes color to create distinct a character for each exhibition theme. The Museum’s collection features historical and contemporary objects which illustrate and reflect the lives and roles of Vietnamese women in society. The 1,500 square meters, display of 971 display objects includes ethnic minority textiles, jewelry, craft work and French and American War memorable, along with 21 films. Visitors can discover and experience the unique cultural features of the ethic minority women through three thematic displays:
